- PHP 8.1 or newer
- Magento Admin access
- A PayMongo account
- Developer/server access for the initial installation
- Knowledge of whether your storefront uses Hyvä Checkout

PHP only
PayMongo currently supports Philippine Peso (PHP) transactions through this extension.
If a customer’s cart uses a currency other than PHP, PayMongo payment methods will not be available at checkout. The customer will see a notice explaining why.
How PayMongo works
Customers are redirected to PayMongo’s hosted payment page to complete their payment.
The payment flow is:
Magento checkout → PayMongo hosted payment page → Payment → Magento order confirmation
Card details are entered directly on PayMongo’s hosted payment page and do not pass through your Magento server.
